Bronte Crowley

Associate

 

Born and raised in Gympie, Bronte grew up working in her parents’ law firm.

Prior to commencing her university studies, Bronte lived abroad in France learning to speak fluent French and studying at a culinary school. Upon her return to Australia, Bronte completed a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts with majors in French and Political Science at the University of Queensland, Brisbane.

While at University, Bronte undertook various work experiences, including the Australian Capital Territory Government Solicitor office, a prominent Brisbane based criminal law firm and work for a barrister in the area of family law.

Bronte also undertook a three month policy and advocacy internship with Global Citizen in their New York office, and completed a clerkship with a national Australian law firm.

Following university, Bronte relocated to New Orleans, United States for two years where she worked in both family and insurance defence law. As part of her work in the United States, Bronte assisted on a writ of certiorari to the Supreme Court of the United States.

Bronte then worked at a national Australian law firm in Brisbane before relocating to Townsville in January 2020.

Bronte is passionate about family law and assisting her clients through what may be one of the most difficult periods in their life. Bronte is client-focused and driven to providing effective legal advice with compassion and understanding.

When Bronte is not in the office, she can be found cooking up a storm, exploring new places, or curled up with a book and a glass of red wine.
